Fall ReportTROY, Ala. — After his wife Jesse came to watch his Troy Trojans scrimmage for the first time early this fall, Skylar Meade asked for her impressions.
“She goes, ‘They walk around like a very confident group.’ And not in a bad way,” said Meade, Troy’s third-year head coach. “She goes, ‘They know they’re good.’ And they should. They’re very talented kids. Now you’ve still got to work your butt off, you’ve got to be tough, you’ve got to be connected — but they know they are good, and that is a big part of it.”
