Fall Report

Old Dominion had really hit its stride late in its time in Conference USA, winning 35 or more games in each of its last three seasons in the league and going a combined 57-35 in conference play in that time. 

A move to the Sun Belt Conference promised to be a tougher task for the Monarchs, and though the first season in their new (old) conference—ODU was also in the league from 1982-1991—didn’t end with a postseason appearance, they showed they belong in that elevated class by going 32-23 overall and 15-15 in conference play, which in the congested SBC standings[…]
