Fall ReportGREENSBORO, N.C. — Typically when a head coach leaves a job at an unconventional time, it leaves the program scrambling, and that often ends up being expressed in a disappointing regular season.
When Billy Godwin left his post as the head coach at UNC Greensboro on December 31, 2023 to return to a job with the Yankees, however, the Spartans didn’t really miss a beat.
