Fall ReportBATON ROUGE, La. — The Jay Johnson era is expected to start with a bang.
It was a busy offseason for the LSU baseball program. An icon for the Tigers retired in long-time and heralded head coach Paul Mainieri. And in his absence, LSU athletic director Scott Woodward went across the country and hired successful Arizona head coach Jay Johnson, who guided his team to the College World Series this past summer.
