Fall ReportIn John Anderson’s previous 39 years as the head coach of the Minnesota Golden Gophers baseball team he had never experienced a season quite like 2021. I’m not just talking about the looming presence of COVID-19 – none of us had experienced that – but it certainly had an effect on the results.
The Gophers managed just six wins (6-31) during a trying 2021 season. The previous low for wins was the year before, 2020, and that was accomplished in 18 games.
