Fall Report: Notre Dame

Things were looking pretty good for the Irish back on June 12, almost exactly five months ago, through the first four-and-a-half innings of Game 1 of the Starkville Super Regional. Notre Dame scored three runs in the top of the fifth and held a 7-3 advantage with its best pitcher on the mound, lefthanded starter John Michael Bertrand, and their All-American closer, Tanner Kohlhepp, ready to take his place.
