Like many baseball teams out here in Southern California, Long Beach State is another program that has to sit out fall drills due to the coronavirus and the campus protocols. But if you know anything about head coach Eric Valenzuela, he is a “no excuses” kind of guy. And he is running his team with that same kind of mentality. 

Fall practices be damned, the Beach is still a team to watch in 2021. Valenzuela took over a team that had gone 14-41 in 2019 and immediately turned the Dirtbags into one of the biggest stories of the young 2020[…]
