2022 Fall Report: UNC Wilmington

WILMINGTON, N.C. — Throughout the entirety of the 21st century so far, UNC Wilmington has been arguably the most consistent mid-major program in the country. Some mid-majors have had higher highs—Fresno State and Coastal Carolina won national titles as members of the WAC and Big South, after all—but the Seahawks have been nearly unmatched for the way they are in the mix for the postseason every single year. 

For that matter, toss out the mid-major qualifier. When it comes to being a postseason contender, there are very few programs at any level that have been as consistently competitive as UNCW.
