The locus of power in college baseball remains, as ever, in the South and the West Coast. That’s true this year, as the closest thing to a Northern team in the Top 25 right now is, what, Louisville? Virginia? It’s therefore easy to forget the dozens of teams that play north of the Potomac and east of the Missouri River, so heading into the start of conference play, let’s look at some of the top Northern teams.
