Coaching News & Buzz: Baylor Tabs Rodriguez

The coaching carousel is spinning furiously, and this week the most action is taking place on the West Coast. First, Arizona hired Jay Johnson away from Nevada on Monday, creating another opening in Reno. Then on Wednesday, Portland filled its head coaching vacancy by hiring Pacific Lutheran’s Geoff Loomis. And Friday, Baylor hired Pepperdine’s Steve Rodriguez to be its head coach, creating yet another vacancy in the West.
