The University of San Diego baseball team is in a unique and enviable position. Entering the final weekend of the regular season, at least for most teams across the country, the Toreros have already claimed the regular season championship with a West Coast Conference record of 20-4. That’s four more wins than the two teams tied for second place in the WCC, 16-5 Portland and Saint Mary’s.
