Streakin’: Coastal Carolina

In the middle part of the last decade, the Coastal Carolina-Winthrop series was a pretty big deal. The Eagles and Chanticleers were the two primary powers of the Big South Conference from 2001 to 2009, and for a while they went back and forth in the battle for Big South supremacy. In 2007, the Chanticleers separated themselves as the lone juggernaut in the league, and the Eagles started to slide, beginning an NCAA tournament drought that continues into 2015.
