Vanderbilt Approves $10 Million Renovation
Vanderbilt’s Board of Trust has approved a $10 million renovation project to provide improved facilities for the baseball program. The improvements, which could begin as early as summer 2016, will focus on the student-athlete experience by renovating Memorial Gym (the building located just behind the left-field wall at Hawkins Field) to provide enhanced space for instruction, team building and coaching. The project also includes an expanded locker room for the many professional alumni who return to Nashville to train during the offseason.
