Let’s get to the scoop:
From The Rogers Files
• Arizona State hopes to turn the tide for good in 2019, and it will need some talented arms and position players to rise to the occasion. Junior righthanders Alec Marsh appears primed to take a huge step forward. Marsh has been 90-92 mph with his fastball, along with an 83 mph slider and a swing and miss changeup this fall. He had seven strikeouts in three innings in scrimmage action this past weekend and is in the mix for a front-line weekend role … In terns of newcomer arms, freshman righthander Blake Burzell is making a strong early impression. Burzell is a 6-foot-6, 210-pounder, who sits 90-93 and up to 94 mph with his fastball. He’s also touched 95 at times this fall and is throwing well. Meanwhile, junior college transfer righty RJ Dabovich has been a bright spot this fall.
