He also highlights the importance of taking care of the little things and how doing that on a daily basis leads to championship-caliber ball clubs – which he experienced first-hand this summer playing with the Cape Cod Baseball League champion Bourne Braves.
Derek’s baseball journey has not always been the smoothest, and he takes pride in the fact that he made it through those rough patches in his baseball career and he even managed to have fun while doing it.
