Fitt: Committee Built A Good Field, With A Few Flaws

The Division I Baseball Committee’s most important job is to choose the most deserving 64 teams for the NCAA tournament — and it mostly succeeded in that regard, though a few snubbed teams had legitimate gripes, and TCU’s inclusion is sure to be controversial. The next priority for the committee is to choose the right teams for the top eight national seeds and the right 16 regional hosts, and this committee aced that test, in our eyes.
