FORT WORTH, Texas — Dallas Baptist just needed a reminder. And coach Dan Heefner picked the right time to deliver it.

The Patriots delivered their usual slew of quality at-bats early in Saturday night’s winners’ bracket game against TCU and jumped out to a 2-0 lead after two innings, but then the Frogs punched back and surged ahead 6-2 by the seventh-inning stretch. So Heefner called a team meeting.
