Magical ride for Alabama continues to regional final

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — When a team is winning a ton of games, it almost always takes some nebulous combination of good baseball and good fortune. 

And sometimes, when things are going really well, those lines blur and you’re not sure which is which. 

Such was the case in the top of the ninth inning Saturday night at Sewell-Thomas Stadium, known as “The Joe,” when Alabama pulled a rabbit out of its hat to put it in position for an 11-8 win over Troy, which sent the Crimson Tide to the regional final Sunday night.
