Vanderbilt Edges Georgia Tech in Low Scoring Affair
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — After Kumar Rocker and the Commodores cruised to an easy 10-0 victory over Presbyterian on Friday, it was Jack Leiter’s turn to shine, this time against Georgia Tech.
The son of World Series champion Al, much has been made of Leiter’s lineage during his time on campus. This matchup would pit two sons of major leaguers against one another, as freshman Marquis Grissom Jr., who’s dad is a 17-year MLB veteran, got the nod for Georgia Tech.
