Ebert: Nebraska wins first-ever Big Ten championship
PostseasonOMAHA – In front of a raucous crowd of 13,300 fans, most of whom were wearing Nebraska red, the Huskers beat the Penn State Nittany Lions by a score of 2-1 to win the 2024 Big Ten Baseball Tournament championship. It was Nebraska’s first-ever tournament championship in baseball since joining the league in 2012, finishing as the runner-up three times, and with the win, they have claimed the Big Ten’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
