PostseasonHOOVER, Ala. — Like many teams, Auburn awaits its fate when the NCAA field of 64 is announced Monday. Unlike some seasons, the Tigers know that their season will continue. What they aren’t sure of is if they will host a regional at Plainsman Park next weekend or travel as a dangerous two seed.
The Tigers’ stay at the SEC Tournament ended with their second loss of the tournament Friday, a 7-0 decision to Ole Miss. The Tigers had defeated Kentucky on Tuesday and Ole Miss Wednesday before losing to Texas A&M Thursday.
