CORAL GABLES, Fla. — Miami catcher Zack Collins loves remote-control planes. Remote-control cars and trucks, too. He also took apart and rebuilt a high-performance jet ski with the help of his father.

Pretty soon, with the 2016 draft just a couple of months away, Collins will be able to afford even more expensive toys.

There’s no telling what kind of fun he will have then.

“He’s a 10-year-old kid stuck in a 21-year-old’s body,” Hurricanes right fielder Willie Abreu said of Collins, a projected first-round pick.
