2020 Top 350 College Prospect RankingsProspects
Just before the holidays we gave fans a glimpse of things to come with our initial College Top 150 Prospects list. Minor adjustments have been made to that original list, yet it remains headlined by Emerson Hancock (Georgia) and Spencer Torkelson (Arizona State). Austin Martin (Vanderbilt), Nick Gonzales (New Mexico State) and Asa Lacy (Texas A&M) continue to round out the top five.
With the season just a day away, we have expanded that list to 350. The overall strength of the 2020 MLB Draft continues to be college pitching. Thirty of the top 50 are college arms, with the majority of them starting pitchers. Shortstop also looks like a strength of the 2020 college crop with a total of 28 making the list, including 12 in the Top 100.
In terms of schools, Arizona State leads the way with seven prospects in the Top 350, while Arkansas, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Louisville, TCU, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest all placed six prospects on the list.
