2022 Control Artists 3.0: College Baseball’s Top 50 Strike-Throwers

Today we take a final look at the top strike-throwers in Division I baseball in 2022. As we see more and more velocity around the country every year, but also more “Ball Four” than ever before, it’s time to give some notoriety to some K-pumpers who fill up the strike zone.

Navy’s Nate Mitchell was our leader in April for Control Artist 2.0, and he held off late rallies by Gordon Ingebritson (UC Irvine) and Matt Jachec (Indiana State) to take the top spot, allowing only two walks in 49.0 innings this spring.
