It was cold outside at Vanderbilt’s Hawkins Field, but the HEAT was on as big arm after big arm took the mound. The top gas was pumped by Vandy’s Patrick Reilly as he delivered 98 octane against Oklahoma State, and the Cowboys showed some firepower of their own with Roman Phansalkar and Victor Mederos both roping a 97.
Also joining the 98 club were Brandon Birdsell (Texas Tech) and Hurston Waldrep (Southern Miss).
