For the first time in Area Code Games history, they actually crowned a “champion” after the five day Showcase. I know it’s just a “showcase” and wins and losses don’t matter as much but I’ve been campaigning for an ACG title game for the 15 years I’ve been covering this event and even crowning my own “champions” in my wrap-ups.
