Summer BaseballChatham battled attrition all summer between the mid-summer draft, Team USA and injuries, leading to a record 53 players appearing in games for the Anglers this summer. That made it impossible to sustain any continuity, and Chatham struggled to a 16-19 record, finishing fourth in the East Division. But the Anglers still had plenty of high-end talent on display for the large crowds in Chatham this summer.
