College Heat Sheet: Week Nine

Who are college baseball’s hardest throwers? After nine weeks of games, here’s a list of college pitchers we have seen throw at least one fastball 96 mph or better. All velocities were seen firsthand by D1Baseball or Prep Baseball Report scouting staff.

After getting shutout last week, the Heat Sheet came back hot with a trio of arms joining the list. On Tuesday in a midweek game against Clemson, Tony Locey from Georgia touched 96 in the first inning. Locey became the 28th member of our Heat Sheet.
