Fall Report: Kent State

KENT, Ohio — Following Kent State’s scout day Wednesday afternoon, where more than three dozen scouts of all ranks where in attendance (area scouts, regional crosscheckers, national crosscheckers and scouting directors), third-year head coach Jeff Duncan spoke in an appreciative and pleased, but matter-of-fact tone. And he has every right to do so.

“When you have a guy like Eric Lauer there’s going to be a lot of attention on the team,” Duncan said. “We just have to make sure we stay humble, work hard and not lose our identity.”
