Week Nine Heat Sheet: College Baseball’s Hardest ThrowersProspects
It was a slower week of heat with just two additions to the sheet. Chayce McDermott (Ball State) fired numerous 96s and a couple 97 flavored in his Saturday start against Eastern Michigan and Taylor Broadway (Ole Miss) tickled 96 in a relief appearance against Mississippi State.
Those two hurlers bring our updated total to 75 power arms who have touched 96 or better so far this season. Not surprisingly, exactly one-third (25) of those arms come from the SEC, including four from the leader Mississippi State.
