Texas A&M heads into the NCAA tournament as the No. 1 team in the D1Baseball Top 25 rankings. The Aggies sat atop the rankings last week heading into the SEC tournament, which they proceeded to win for the first time. The top five is rounded out by ACC regular season champion Miami, NCAA tourney No. 1 national seed Florida, SEC regular-season champ Mississippi State and No. 2 national seed Louisville.
Red-hot LSU moved up two spots to No. 6, and similarly hot Ole Miss climbed four spots to No. 7. ACC champion Clemson jumped four spots to No. 8 after a 4-0 run through its conference tournament. Texas Tech and Virginia dropped three spots apiece to round out the top 10.
Big 12 champion TCU (No. 13), Big South champ Coastal Carolina (No. 17), Sun Belt champ Louisiana-Lafayette (No. 18) and Conference USA champ Southern Miss (No. 19) all head into regionals ranked in the top 20 after winning their respective conference tournaments.
Big Ten tournament champion Ohio State jumped into the rankings for the first time this year at No. 20. Dallas Baptist and Bryant, which both won their respective regular-season and conference titles, also joined the rankings at No. 24 and No. 25. Oklahoma State, Washington and Arizona State fell out of the rankings.
D1Baseball editors Aaron Fitt and Kendall Rogers determine the Top 25 rankings. Records are through games of May 29.
