Texas A&M remains No. 1 in the D1Baseball Top 25 rankings for the third week in a row after winning a series against ranked Georgia. Arkansas and Tennessee maintain their positions in the next two spots after winning their series as well.
East Carolina moves into the top five for the first time this season after a 4-0 week, climbing two spots from No. 7. Oregon State and Florida State jump three places apiece after winning series against Top 25 opponents Oregon and Duke, respectively. UC Irvine moves into the top 10, climbing three spots from No. 12 to No. 9 after a 4-0 week.
Other climbers this week include Virginia and North Carolina, which move up three spots apiece to 11 and 12. Oklahoma State leaps five spots to No. 14, and South Carolina is up nine spots to No. 15 after taking two of three from Kentucky, which falls four spots from No. 4 to No. 8.
Two teams enter the rankings this week. Mississippi State vaults in at No. 16 after winning a road series at Vanderbilt, which falls six spots to No. 17. And Utah enters the D1Baseball Top 25 for the first time in the history of these rankings, which began in 2015. The Utes swept UCLA to improve to 14-7 in the Pac-12 and move into a tie atop the conference standings with Arizona, which fell five spots to No. 21 after dropping a series at Washington. Utah has lost just one of its 11 weekend series this year.
D1Baseball editors and national writers determine the Top 25 rankings. Records are through games of April 28.
