2020 Southland Preview: Trio Of Teams Are The Headliners

Season Preview

The Southland Conference always seems to have a battle royale atop the standings, and things aren’t expected to change this season. While Sam Houston State won the regular season title last season, McNeese won the league’s automatic bid. The Cowboys have plenty of key pieces back from last year’s team, including Friday night ace Will Dion. However, it’s a coin toss with SHSU and intriguing Central Arkansas for the top spot. The SLC has plenty of other intriguing teams, too.
