The Southwestern Athletic Conference got off to a rather sluggish start in the 2020 season before things got stopped for good. While Alabama State shot out to an impressive 14-4 mark and Jackson State posted some good wins in a 9-7 start, the rest of the SWAC foundered to sub-.500 finishes.
