2024 SEC Newcomer Report: Auburn

Simply put, the 2024 season was a tough one at Auburn. The Tigers finished 27-26 overall and 8-22 in SEC play, which kept them out of the SEC Tournament in the final year in which SEC teams had to qualify for Hoover. 

Auburn hasn’t missed the NCAA Tournament in back-to-back seasons since Butch Thompson took over as head coach, so it stands to reason the Tigers will bounce back in a big way in 2025. But if that’s to happen, they will need some big contributions from newcomers to the roster.
