Few programs are operating as well as LSU in terms of talent acquisition right now, and that’s seen in the elite talent that has come through the program just in the last few seasons under Jay Johnson.

Even with last year being a down year for the Tigers relative to the program’s high expectations, they had nine players drafted, including eight pitchers, which ties the SEC record for the most pitchers selected from a single team.
