Etheridge: Analyzing the SEC schedule drop

The expanded 16-team Southeastern Conference announced the league schedule on Thursday. In the division-less conference’s gauntlet from March to May next spring, all teams will play ten consecutive weeks of conference foes. Each team has two permanent opponents, with the other eight games rotating between the remaining thirteen programs.

In another change, all 16 teams will participate in the conference tournament, once again held in Hoover, Alabama.

There will be many exciting matchups before they hit the highway to Hoover. But many fans could be surprised by the teams that do not appear on the schedules. Without divisions, 2025 will not feature[…]
