Etheridge: Mingione, Wildcats Await Hosting Fate

HOOVER, Ala. – Last season, Kentucky had a 52 RPI, and despite three SEC Tournament wins to add to the 12 from the regular season, the Wildcats missed out on a regional berth.

This offseason, head coach Nick Mingione said enough was enough. He had to find a way to give his team a better chance at inclusion on selection day. He can’t change the 30-game SEC schedule, but there are options for the non-conference slate.
