Healy: New SEC Tournament format promises to provide more compelling games

HOOVER, Ala. — The 2024 SEC Tournament represents the end of an era. No, the tournament isn’t moving, as has long been the subject of speculation among many observers and trepidation among those who have a soft spot for Hoover. 

But after a lengthy discussion throughout the league during the offseason and a vote among the schools’ athletic directors, the format is changing and that’ll be quite the shift.
