SEC ExtraMONTGOMERY, Ala. – Jason Jackson was thrust into the spotlight last week. As Alabama’s pitching coach, Jackson was elevated to interim head coach after then-head coach Brad Bohannon was terminated abruptly for his connection with betting abnormalities.
To quote the great philosopher Ferris Bueller, “Life comes at you fast.”
Jackson’s life hit warp speed Thursday as he lost his head coach, became the interim headman, and then defeated fifth-ranked Vanderbilt all within several hours.
