Joe’s Notes: Final thoughts on Arkansas’ sweep of LSU
SEC ExtraFAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas polished off a sweep of LSU Saturday with a 7-5 victory. It pushed the Razorbacks’ SEC record to 8-1 and dropped the Tigers to 2-7 in conference play. Here are some final thoughts from the weekend in Fayetteville.
- Let’s get one thing out of the way first: LSU had a very tough weekend and its SEC record is 2-7, but this team is better than that. Flawed? Yes. Struggling right now? Definitely. But the three losses this weekend came by a combined six runs. Don’t count the Tigers out. This team has a run in them.
