Texas is officially an SEC member now.

Yeah, I know. Technically, the date is still July 1. But the hiring of former Texas A&M head coach Jim Schlossnagle somehow was on-brand for both Texas and an SEC program.

It’s a cut-throat league on the field and a knife in the back league off of it. This week’s shenanigans showed that the Longhorns realized they needed to up their game to survive.
