Etheridge: LSU has a lot more believers this week

SEC Extra

HOOVER, Ala – Jay Johnson always believed his team would get here. Most of the rest of us weren’t so sure when the Tigers were 3-12 in SEC play. After a furious that got LSU to 13-17 in SEC play, Johnson’s club continues to flex with its second SEC Tournament win, one that has cemented the Tigers into the postseason and will certainly earn them some picks as a trendy upset pick to upset the host wherever they play next week.

After handling Georgia 9-1 on Tuesday, LSU run-ruled Kentucky 11-0, holding the SEC regular-season co-champion Wildcats to one hit.
