Lunceford, Rustad stifle Florida bats in Missouri’s extra-inning win
SEC ExtraCOLUMBIA, Mo. — Perhaps you haven’t noticed, but since SEC play began, Missouri has pitched extremely well. Going into Friday’s game against Florida, the Tigers were fourth in the conference in league play with a 4.68 ERA. It has often been a struggle offensively, but pitching has been good enough more often than not.
All of that was true once again Friday against the Gators in a 2-1, 11-inning victory that was finished by a walk-off RBI single off the bat of Jedier Hernandez.
