This is the first time since the SEC expanded to 14 teams that nine teams have finished with winning conference records. Obviously, this never happened in a 12-team league, so this season is as top-heavy as the conference has been. The previous high was seven teams with winning league records in 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019, and 2021.
