New-look Sooners ready for new league
SEC ExtraOklahoma won the Big 12 regular-season title and hosted a regional last season. Just three years ago, the Sooners made the College World Series final. This is an accomplished program that should take a back seat to no one. However, Skip Johnson’s program now moves to the SEC, where 13 of the expanded 16 teams played in regionals last season, and there could be six teams in the 2025 preseason top ten.
It’s an adjustment under the best of terms.
