Pitching Injuries Mount at Alabama

Alabama got some bad news this week as Grayson Hitt suffered an injury in a midweek bullpen session. He is going for a second opinion next week, but the initial prognosis isn’t promising, with the possibility of the talented junior lefty missing the rest of the season. The Crimson Tide is already without Ben Hess for the second consecutive weekend with a forearm strain. Hess is expected to begin throwing this week and will be re-evaluated.
