SEC Features More Blowouts Than Power Conference Counterparts

If you’ve thought to yourself that it feels like conference play in the SEC has been littered with blowout games this season, it turns out that you’re right, and apparently, that the league instituted a 10-run rule after seven innings at the right time. 

SEC conference games this season have been decided by an average of 5.55 runs, which is higher than average margin of victory in the ACC (4.74 runs), Big 12 (4.42 runs) and Pac-12 (3.96 runs).
