SEC ExtraThe SEC went 11-2 in midweek games this week. Here are my observations from the action:
I’ve seen games called for rain, for cold, for fog, and even for missing umpires. There was also a time I saw a game delayed because a lawn tractor dragging the infield ran out of gas near second base, causing a mad dash with a gas can to the nearest station. However, I don’t recall a game ever being canceled due to unfit sod.
