Kentucky last season took the field with a roster that was made up of a lot of different parts. It had veterans with tons of SEC experience, it had older transfers from mid-major teams, older transfers from lower-division programs, young transfers and a smattering of freshmen ready to compete right away. And it worked, as the Wildcats hosted a regional and advanced to a super regional, both for the first time since 2017 and for the second time ever.
